Lakeside Medical Group (LMG) is an independent physician association (IPA) of over 2,000 private practice physicians who have been serving Southern California families since 1986. LMG physicians are able to contract with managed care insurance companies and thus provide health care to patients with HMO insurance coverage. Each physician maintains his or her private practice and yet has the benefit of working within a system to expedite referrals, claims and authorizations.
